Normally I don't go to Boots as their service became consistently poor but I thought I ought to give them another try. Mistake. Having had to search for the product I wanted( the signs are I suppose purely for the high margin products ) i went to the counter to pay and started to wait. Of the three assistants behind the counter one was occupied and of the other two one was peering at a screen and the other was opening drawers. I am 6 feet tall and use a stick but once near the counter I became invisible. After a while I started to time how long I'd been there and it was at the two minute mark when someone else was dealt with as I was still invisible. I left. Four problems- stock-outs, poor signage, assistants who either need a lot more training and or some proper management and not selecting those who have had an interpersonal skills bypass. It is simply rude to ignore people, let alone customers. As it was I went to Lloyds who were busier but I was served in a timely way with the right products. I fear for Boots survival as no business can stay in business like this. By the way you can't even keep your review dates current- it's now February 2018
