I normally go to the chemist near my doctors where I have always received first class service, As this chemist was closed I went to Asda chemist at Wigan.
Never again!.
At the visit I paid for a prepayment certificate and was handed a copy of a form, The chemist then didn't have all my prescriptions in stock and gave me a credit note,
Almost one month later no prepaid card had arrived, After call To NHS Prescriptions found out that they had no record of payment, Called Asda Chemist and was told that I should have sent original form off to NHS Prescription. I was never given an original form to send off or told to do so. I was only given a photocopy of a form. When then queried with Asda I found then to be rude and unhelpful.
Second visit - When I went in to collect the prescription on the credit note they did not have the item in stock.
Third visit today - after the slowest service I have ever experienced (no other customers there) I eventually got my prescription after member of staff had to go to Asda shelves to get the product - albeit in two bottles which amounted to a smaller amount in total to what was prescribed. So ended up with a shortfall from what was prescribed but at this point I had given up with this chemist and just wanted to get out of the place
I will never use this chemist again. Dreadful service with staff who have no interest in trying to help. I will stick to my local family run chemist where they process any pre paid certificates for you (at no costs) and who provide a helpful, courteous and speedy service!
Please note - I have given the store one star and said that it is extremity unlikely that I will use it again, Correction - I do not believe that the store warrants one star - should be no stars and I would NEVER use it again!
