Having rung and checked, I was then able to pop into the pharmacy, get a prescription made up, have a flu jab, collect my prescription and be out again, all in the space of 10 minutes. This has to be better than either having to make an appointment (ok if that suits you better but not if your lifestyle is a bit unpredictable) or waiting at the GP session with dozens of others on a day that's not always suitable. I shall certainly go to the pharmacy next year!
