I'm seventy years old and for the last six months I've found it difficult to get around because of an injured knee. I don't have a car and getting to Wigan Road by bus would take an inordinate length of time. I need to check that a prescription that I arranged to be ordered last week was in fact sent in, something I couldn't attend to in person because I've been abroad for three weeks. I tried to telephone, therefore, and suffered the usual fate: totally ignored because everyone is too busy. Is it really the caelse that every call from a service user is a lazy alternative to turning up in person? If my medicines aren't ready forcollectio tomorrow ishall have no Lisinopril left and no obvious way of getting hold of all the other items I need, all of which are in short supply. Do you think it's okay to continue with this rather dangerous and heedless policy, and if I were to contact Runcorn and put the same question to HQ, what would they say?

Went to ask if I could have my blood pressure checked and was told that they didn't have the staff even though the chemist had 1 person in and 3 members of staff!!!
