Visited the new exciting refurbishment, totally horrified, I am so sad, this was such a lovely old chemist with beautiful interior design with old interesting counters and was once full of interesting products, which over the last months have been declining, today though was a plastic nightmare, the heart has been ripped out and replaced with cheap plasticky pretend wood and floors of more cheap plastic..the whole place reeked of it and felt so small and confined it was a pleasure to leave the ugliness...the counter at the end is ridiculously small and in no time I can guarantee it wil look scruffy and dirty, being again plastic...it's such a missed opportunity, these new people could have styled an even more interesting luxurious chemist of the like that is in London or Paris, that could have been in keeping with an old historical town, and filled it with interesting and desirable products that cannot be found easily, but products that are wanted, but no, an abomination...criminal really and so so inessential....

Have used this Pharmacy for over 14 years. Sadly today the member of staff on the counter decided to be rude and make me feel degraded over the length of time it takes to process repeat perscriptions. They did not mention that they were upgrading systems which was the cause of delay and after checking with the practice they confirmed that this was the case. I would have been fine with this however i do not appreciate being spoken to in such a way, hence this post. Lesson, dont be rude to customers even if its out of your control, I have now changed pharmacy and will take my custom elsewhere.
