My wife called the pharmacy in tests, rawtenstall, on my behalf as I suffer with asthma often waking up in the middle of the night having an asthma attack. Today Thursday 23Rd June 2016 at a round 8.00 pm my wife called on my behalf, as I had noticed that my inhaler had run out. I had an appointment to see the doctor but I feared I would not last until then. So she called and asked if there was any way I could get an emergency inhaler. I had done this once before, and thought that who ever was manning the pharmacy might show compassion to their fellow man on need. However my wife was instead subjected to suspicion and a very rude person who refused our plea. I am not in the habit of getting an emergency supply without a prescription however I was in a bad way and this was my last resort. As a result we feel insulted, angry, and embarrassed. And I certainly will not be returning.
