Popped in for some pain killers for a friend. Had been bitten over the weekend and asked for anti-histamines. Dispenser asked to take a look, advised to see the Doctor due to size and previous reaction. Doctor thought it may be a tick bite, though not in end, but I'm now on antibiotics. Without the help and advice from this lovely helpful lady I could have ended up in a real mess! THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH x

For a few years I have received my monthly repeat prescriptions from the Tytherington Pharmacy near Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK10 2HB. The service has always been very good. However, over the past two or three weeks, I have had, on the side of my face, what I thought was a simple pimple. Every time I shaved it started to bleed even though I was being very careful. I finally decided to do something about it and, knowing the delay in getting a doctors appointment, decided to "ask my local pharmacy" as per the advert on television. After a few seconds looking at the "pimple" the pharmacist recommended that I contact my G.P. The doctor confirmed that the "pimple" was a B.C.C. (a basal cell carcinoma). Thanks to the advice of the pharmacist, and of course, my doctor I am now waiting for a an operation to remove the "pimple". All is well that ends well!
