My doctor sent emergency prescription electronically to my nearest opened phrmacy , which was boots heeley retail park, upon arrival i was atood waiting for 45 minutes only for woman serving through hatch to give me that prescription back and told me they dont have that antibiotics for my 5 years old little girl , assuming they were closing as it was 8:45pm now .. i asked her to make sure they take it of their system so i can get it elsewhere , she kindly replied yes its off our system and she even told me to go tesco pharmacy , which i did but that also closed at 9pm , so i took it too broomhill pharmacy which closes at 10pm and they notified me thst they cannot release antibiotics to me as the boots pharmacy hasnt taken it off their system ...so i only had 1 option left to try at local walk in centre only to add to my misery they told me they cannot issue a duplicate as there is no way of taking the prescription at boots and they cannot allow 2 prescriptions active at once so i left after a lengthy wait to see triage ..shame on the woman who made me go through hell just because she wasnt in mood to help...i will be going to see her manager tommrow and will escslate it further with help from medical negligence solicitors .

My out of hours doctor sent this pharmacy a prescription for antibiotics for my 5 yrs old child , and i sped myself to make it on time since it closes at 9pm , i managed to make it for 8:15 pm , only to wait 45 minutes as the lady never appeared to the hatch where they normally serve out of after boots closes , i pressed buzzer 4 times , she just came to hatch 5 mins before they close and told me that they csnnot give me those antibiotics as they dont have it , and told me to go elsewhere , just before i left i told her that have you taken it off your system and she replyed yes .from past experience i knew they need to take the prescription of their system so other pharmacys can release to medicine ..i been to tesco only to find the pharmacy closed , so the next pharmacy was in broomhill , after rushing and managing to get there before 10pm only to be told that they do have this antibiotic but cannot release it to me as boots pharmacy in heely havent taken it off their system ..the only option left was walkin centre in town so i managed to drive to there , after a lengthy wait the triage told me they cannot give me a duplicate prescription as they cannot take the other one from boots pharmacy , so i left dissapointed , missed my work too and my child in agony ...shame on the lady at boots pharmacy , she could have chosen to help , her carelessness has cost me and my daughter dearly ..shame on her..i will be seeking legal advice from medical negligence firm soon.

I agree with the previous review. Most of the staff in the pharmacy at Heeley retail park are rude. They turn their back on you without acknowledging you when you are next to be served. I was recently asked to take two steps back when I was next in the queue and I moved forward. I was absolutely shocked. I felt degraded and worthless. In my experience customers are not valued by the pharmacy staff, and they certainly do not treat their customers with dignity and respect.
