I requested my medication from my GP last week and it was processed on 9th April according to the practices website, concerned that it hadn’t arrived because it’s always delivered to me, I tried calling today a total of 9 times from 11.30am and 2pm, when the phone wasn’t off the hook, the staff would either just let it ring or cut the call completely and disconnect the call! I am disabled however, I drove to the pharmacy with a neighbour who kindly offered to help me, there were only 2 members of staff on duty (one of whom was stood outside eating his dinner!) and 5 people waiting who all said they had been there an hour. Thoughtfully, the staff had erected a sign that said ‘there would be a 30 minute wait for all prescriptions!’ I’ve ran out of some of my medication now and I had to ask if any of my social media friends had the same tablets! I rely on my medication simply to ‘function’ for want of a better word on a daily basis and the service, or indeed, lack of that I received today is shameful. What is happening here? Why were only 2 staff working on a busy Friday? When will my medicine arrive? Can I rely on you in the future? Original Comment Report...
