I visited this pharmacy to collect my wife’s medication three times before they gave me the medication. On the first visit they told me they had it in stock but then when I visited to collect after saying for parking they then told me the pharmacist forgot to check the use-by date on it. To their credit they did apologise. I was told to wait for a call the following day to say it was now in stock but didn’t get any call. I visited a few days later only to find there was a notice on the door saying they were closed from around 3pm to around 4:30pm, a quick Google search stated they were still open. More parking money wasted. I phoned yesterday to ask if my wife’s medication was ready for collection and they said it was ready. I visited again today 25th October 2023 after paying more parking and after several minutes searching on shelves and on their computer system still couldn’t find it until eventually they asked me what it was and then they realised it was a controlled drug and they found it somewhere else eventually. I don’t think it was ready for collection because it was another 1-2 minutes before they handed it to me by the third person I had met since I walked in to the store. Really disappointing service.

Really slow at getting prescriptions out by post. Left my mum in pain for 5 days. And when my brother was dying of cancer, they refused to send him paracetamol because it was in a glass bottle. He would happily have taken tablets! Could they not have put the paracetamol in plastic containers? He sued 3 weeks later, and they just didn’t care. They didn’t even offer to collect the prescription from west street surgery. Left family members doing 60-mile round trips. I felt so angry about this. Very uncaring and painfully slow.
