Jhoots Pharmacy at the Newbridge Surgery is a shambles due to my own experience over the last few years including the pandemic , which I have catered for and put aside . These are genuine reviews not posted by others to boost ratings . The pharmacy is a shambles , since the only decent pharmacist left some time ago , the prescriptions are late , even when informing them that my 93 yr old mother s medication is due in advance , only to be told that I can pick them up from Darlaston ! This on a Friday afternoon and my mums medication finish’s over the weekend , also no alternative given to supply a days dosage for blood pressure etc - since they are out of stock …. They have no duty of care , the receptionists is in not passing on messages and it looks as though they have no computerized system to let them know when a patients medication needs renewing …. This is not a one off , but constant problem , on some occasions the medication has been incorrectly placed in the blister packs , other times medication omitted . The pharmacy is an accident waiting to happen - there practices and procedures needs to be looked into before they cause serious harm to a patient . Others may have other views but for myself I have had such a bad experience from the service they have provided I will now look elsewhere so that my mother gets the care she deserves , in her latter years of life …. Bless the pharmacist who left , she was the rock that held the place together . Beware if you use this pharmacist , be it at your own peril
