I am a regular user of the Lloyds Pharmacy in Chineham, Basingstoke. Mainly, because it’s convenient as I live nearby. I have nothing but praise for Caroline, who I believe is the pharmacy manager and two other ladies who work there. But in particular Caroline will go out of her way to help me. However, whenever I want to collect some medication I enter the shop with trepidation, wondering if my pre-ordered medication is ready for collection, still has to be made up or - the worst scenario - is not a available but no one has bothered to contact me to say so. Whilst I’m assuming that all is well. Yesterday, 7 November, I found a note at the door to say the pharmacy is closed as there is no pharmacist available !!!! Surely, this is not only unprofessional but also irresponsible towards their loyal customers !! I was lucky I suppose that I had just collected some important medication before today ? What would have happened if I had not ???!!! Can you please advise urgently why there never seems to be enough staff at this particular pharmacy of Lloyds. Sad to say but this Pharmacy has two speeds slow and stop! They need more staff you have to wait ages to collect prescriptions then when you arrive at the front of the queue inevitably there is another problem. PLEASE get more staff. The current staff must get a lot of grief when actually its not their fault just poor management. Sorry needs a great deal of improvement.
