I use frequently as it is the only wheelchair accessible chemist locally within 3 miles and there is always a warm friendly greeting and efficient waiting service for scripts even though the counter is often busy. Exiting the door only opens inwards but staff or even another customer will always open the door for you. I use the free home delivery service for elderly or disabled clients. For a small village pharmacy it offers a good range of products on the shelf or from store room on request.
As is often the case you are not able to collect prescription items between 1-2pm lunch break but I think the counter remains open for other items.
Open 9am to 6pm half Days Wed & Sat closed Sunday. Very close to the Medical centre in Railway Lane. Easy on road parking outside store Original Comment Report... |

I contacted this Pharmacy because I had been told that they had a Chiropodist working on the premises and I wanted more information about treatment for an in-growing toe-nail. I was told by a member of staff that they had a Chiropodist and that he came there on a Monday. I asked if he was a Registered Chiropodist and they said he was but gave me his number for more information.
Since then I have found out that this person is NOT a Chiropodist at all but some kind of unregulated foot-care person who apparently trained mainly by correspondence course.
This Phamacy should be more careful about what information they give out. Original Comment Report... |
