My review purely concerns Anne who served me yesterday in Boots Pharmacy in Lewisham. I needed my prescription as I'm leaving for a long weekend next Thursday and I would have run out of one (Clopydogrel) by next Saturday had I not received this. Despite the desk being closed due to a shortage of pharmacists Anne looked up my prescription and found that the medication had been received and finally found a pharmacist who could approve it. The previous day (Friday 2 June) I sent in a complaint about the service I received from one of her colleagues when no-one would answer the landline and there hadn't been a delivery of medication. However, Anne's quality of customer service more than made up for my negative experience yesterday and I'd like her to receive praise. |

Went into local branch of Boots, Northfield, Birmingham today. No customers at counter, but two members of staff in full conversation, totally ignoring a potential customer. Decided to try Pharmacy counter. Exactly same scenario. Shrugged shoulders & walked out. Decided I really needed to get required medication so went back in. Still no help/recognition from staff, at general counter, so again went to pharmacy counter. Pharmacy assistant did actually acknowledge my existence this time & asked how they could help. Resisted the temptation to ask if they had any Customer Service, but instead asked for advice on required medication, which they did assist with but then, it seemed, they were aware that I was not to happy or impressed with the customer experience so far and had to urge the general counter assistant to process my payment. Is there a problem with staff morale within the Boots organisation or is this a Customer Service training issue which really needs to be addressed, as this is not the first time I have a negative customer service experience albeit at a different Boots store, and looking at other reviews on this page they all seem to be very similar experiences. I also note that Boots haveyet to respond on any of their reviews Original Comment Report... |

Tried to call the pharmacy - they never answer the phone.
In the store in person, tills regularly unmanned, queues are long. Often struggle to find anybody to answer questions or serve you. When someone does turn up they just say they can't help it.
I travel a lot over the country. Easily the worst Boots and pharmacy customer service over most of the major cities in the UK that I have visited.
This isn't just restricted to this month. I have lived here for several years and nothing has changed. Original Comment Report... |
