Shop small but very convenient for non pharmacy items. Pharmacy review of 2015 frighteningly still accurate in 2023. Male staff try to help but otherwise be prepared to feel blamed for shortcomings and be told you're disrespectful

I have used this pharmacy since coming to Norwich 3 years ago as it was in the city and didn't know of any others, wish I hadn't. There is almost always some issue with my regular repeat prescription (either every month or 2 months) it's either not ready/in, when they tell me it will be, they are missing items and they will often blame the surgery. How do I know if it's the surgery's fault or Boots? Seeing as there's such a huge company and they know what meds I have, how is they are out of stock so often? I was told at some point I would get a text/message/call to say if my meds were ready on the agreed date, I rarely get that at all, so what was the point! If I then try to phone them (like today, 4th July 2015) as I'm likley to run out of at least 1 thing I have, I can't get through. As far as they give you a day/date your meds are ready, in practice when you turn up on that day, it's as if it takes ages and ages to actually get your items ready. Lastly, despite being told by one very nice pharmacist, that they would be my regualr one, I rarely see the same pharmacist twice, so no consistency and some of them have been pretty off with me or patronising. I'm a middle aged, reasonably intelligent woman and don't appreciate being talked down to, fobbed off and or patronised. The one I saw in May was actaully quite rude about my morphine meds and when I said that as my GP has to sign off on this, they said, quite tartly, that the GP was wrong and could get a Government letter to tell them this!!! The only reason I haven't changed is that there are hardly any independent pharmacies within the centre of the city and as I don't drive, I have to be able to get to them easily. But I am going to try as I've now yet again not had a message to say my meds were ready 3/7/15 and haven't been able to get trhough on phone.
