I have dealt with this branch on numerous occasions over the last few years, on behalf of my mother who, in her 90's, has her medication delivered in blister packs. Simply to to enter the pharmacy is to get an impression of chaos and confusion. Paper bags of medications are stacked everywhere, on shelves and on the floor. The staff always appear to be tripping over each other. Any request is followed by a long wait, to find information or medications, Fairly often, action which had had been arranged has has not been taken, resulting in in another wait. My most recent contact was by phone on a Saturday morning. Medication ordered the the previous Monday, for delivery on Wednesday, had not been delivered. The omission was discovered on Friday morning, in time, I was promised, for the mistake to be rectified before the end of of Friday. Nothing was done on Friday however, and when I telephoned on Saturday morning I was told that no no delivery could take take place until Monday unless I were to collect the the package myself. No No effort was made to apologise, or to offer any any alternative solution, other than imposing a 100 mile trip on me so that I could could correct a a situation entirely caused by their inefficiency. My efforts to achieve any other solution were met with with complete indifference and my persistence was was eventually rewarded by the the cutting off of my call. Thereafter, I was unable to to contact the pharmacy, repeated attempts to telephone being being unanswered. I shall attempt to convey my unhappiness with the the situation to the the pharmacy itself and to the the surgery. Original Comment Report... |
