I have two children, the youngest of which is on a lot of medication and has a life threatening condition. Therefore, I needed to use the Midhurst pharmacy fairly frequently and one week I had to go in and out several days in a row because both my children happened to be sick and require medication. On the occasion I am writing about now I politely asked for my son's medication only for the assistant to go to the back of the room to describe my being there as a "pain" I was very upset because I feel like I have never been any trouble at all to the staff and in fact the only way I could be a 'pain' is that I have had to use the service frequently for my son - who is not well. It was quite hurtful and I felt that if I had remarked upon it then indeed it would have made me look like I was a 'pain' I felt like it was thoughtless and insensitive. The last thing I want is for my child to be unwell and I am sorry that he needs daily medication and I am sorry that I had to go in and out of the pharmacy that frequently. As a result I feel quite uncomfortable about ever going back and I now use a different pharmacy.
