Called to collect my monthly supply of Parkinsons drugs on Saturday. Was informed that Entacapone was not available and that I should contact my GP on Monday to have something else prescribed. Knowing how alternative Parkinsons drugs can be critical, I contacted Boots in Tenterden who confirmed that the drug was indeed in short supply, but if my pharmacy were to re-order,it would be available early August. I then phoned Headcorn Pharmacy who agreed to re-order on my behalf. I have sufficient pills to bridge the gap but no paperwork or other evidence to confirm the agreed action. Also they said I should phone to check if delivered when it would seem to be more sensible for them to phone me when the drug is in?

Dreadful service every time I go down to collect a prescription. This time I rang up before I went down to collect it. They confirmed it was ready. I went down and it took 10 minutes for them to find it, and then one of the items was only partially complete so have to go back next day to collect the rest. Complete waste of my time. Utterly useless and inefficient.
