Diagnosed my toddler with conjuntivitus and prescribed eye drops and had to pay. They said they do not offer scheme even though it states on this site they do. Refused to give refund and have been extremely unhelpful. Original Comment Report... |

This comes after more than 6 months of using the dosage box service at this pharmacy. As I am taking a lot of medication in connection with my disability and the pharmacy proposed that they could put these all into dosage boxes for my convenience. Not a bad idea in itself, unfortunately they ware never able to execute it properly. Constantly one or two medicines had been left outside the dosage boxes and issued in a regular manner for unknown reasons, and the pharmacy would not get bothered with taking to the GP practice to sort it out. Mistakes with numbers of pills and packing ware also been quite common. Finally a staff member claimed that one vital medication will not be given at all, as they did not request it from the GP, because they were sure that the GP would decline it, and would not bother to call and check. The GP of course issued the prescription to the pharmacy without any problems as soon as I asked them to. Three days later my medication was not ready for collection, and I was treated very badly with abuse and insults by the same staff. Unfortunately the manager was unhelpful and sided with the staff, at least until shown irrefutable proof that the staff member was not telling the truth. Sadly by that point too much has been said, and no suitable apology has been offered. Will definitely not use again for anything except a genuine life threatening emergency, and even then I will think twice if it's not better to go half a mile further (I use crutches for walking) to the next pharmacy.
