Disappointed with attitude of the staff member on the till in this pharmacy. I visited three weeks ago and purchased pain killers to treat a dental issue. I’ve currently been on a waiting list for over four months waiting for a root canal. I’ve had three emergency appointments, three rounds of antibiotics and some very painful treatment for an abscess that formed. I visited today to purchase pain killers and was treated and questioned with what felt like accusations I was some sort of drug addict. After consulting the pharmacist she agreed to serve me but I was so taken back by the questioning I actually decided to leave. I’m very upset that I was questioned in such a way, perhaps I look like a drug addict and their routines are to “score” some pain killers every three weeks on the way home from work so I fell into that stereotype. I just don’t understand what went on but I had to leave while I was still feeling polite.
