Terrible attitude and behaviour towards customers/patients. After 5 yrs with Parker’s I’ve changed pharmacies due to the disgusting way I’ve been treated and spoken to over the last 5 months by what appears to be a new group of people running the shop now. I’ve been told numerous lies as to why my medication wasn’t ready, or when to expect delivery, or not ready for delivery, out when delivery attempted and not delivered on agreed delivery date. On the phone they treated me like a battery hen, just processed me with no courtesy, honesty or customer care. At one point I was told, “that’s how it is now, if I didn’t like it I would have to collect my own medication, they didn’t care as they had too many people to deal with”. The national health and pharmacy industry promote the idea that your local pharmacist is like an extension of your doctor, someone you can consult about minor ailments or personal requirements and receive professional help. I’m afraid you’ll be sadly disappointed at Parker’s Pharmacy, York.
