I have nothing but good things to say about the doctors surgery itself, I’ve been patient 10 years and never had an issue. But recently I needed to start collecting prescriptions for the first time and have been so let down by the pharmacy on all 3 occasions I’ve used it. On the first occasion they struggled to fill a prescription for a sharps bin. They couldn’t apparently “make sense” of the prescription. I waited 1 1/2 hours in total before giving up and purchasing the bin from them off prescription. I followed up with the pharmacist during my wait - firstly told to wait and be patient, then told later on that actually they had stopped processing my prescription because others were waiting and it “didn’t make sense”. On the second occasion I ordered my prescription via patient access (excellent service). Arrived to collect it and told it was with the pharmacist. Sadly the pharmacist couldn’t find it. Turns out they had incorrectly entered the password in thier digital system and had locked themselves out - meaning they couldn’t access it. Waited for 40 mins whilst they got a doctor to sign off an emergency supply to get me by for a few days and told to return 48 hours later for the rest. Third occasion - today - to pick up the remainder of my prescription. Turns out nothing had been ordered. Pharmacist tells me they may not have the most urgent part of my prescription. I’m then offered a green slip to take else where (ideal solution at this point) but it’s then decided that because I’ve had part of my prescription this can’t be done. Told to come back and they’ll “try” to it. Sadly as I’ve had to travel to get there and I’m 38 weeks pregnant this isn’t an option. I am therefore told rudely that I’ll have to be patient and take a seat. After 30 mins the rest of my prescription is eventually found. No apology is made, in fact barely any conversation is offered, and I’m made again to feel like I’m inconveniencing them. I was the only person in there at the time - hardly a imposition surely to pick something I’ve pre-ordered up following an original error? I find it hard to believe that this level of service and general manners is deemed an acceptable representation of a great doctors survey.

A nightmare experience it has been for repeat prescriptions each time its been chaotic.
