When I went into this chemist to set up my monthly repeat prescription from myself and my daughter the pharmacist was friendly helpful etc explained that I would get a text every month to say meds are ready for collection I thought great! First month came around no text phoned them and was told we will phone you back no call back phoned the following morning after trying many times as no one was picking up so I thought ok they must be busy so I went down there the lady had no explanation as to why no one had phoned me back or why are meds had not been ordered I asked to speak to the pharmacist who informed me that they would put in a request today and it will take four days there was no explanation or apology as to why I hadn’t received the service as promised by themselves I had to phone my GP to request them to fax over our prescriptions as our medication needs to be taken daily one of my daughters medications was not in her bag when I checked before I left the chemist when I informed the lady behind the counter she looked up my daughters details and said “it was a controlled drug” which was absolute nonsense I spoke to the pharmacist again and he was trying to tell me that this certain drug was not on her monthly repeat prescription which again was absolute nonsense I phoned my GP surgery again whilst now having been in this chemist for over an hour explained what was happening I had to hand my phone over to the pharmacist so they could tell him that it is on her monthly repeat prescription and that it wasn’t a controlled drug!! The whole experience was absolutely diabolical all the staff were rude and very unprofessional! I left that chemist that day extremely upset and traumatised by the whole experience!! Never again will I use this chemist! And that’s what I would advise to anyone!! Lloyds the chemist might get very busy and you have to queue but they are always polite and professional so that’s where I go now and would pass this advice on to everyone else. This actually happened last year and I never got around to leaving my review at the time . My eldest daughter has had an awaful experience with them over the last two days regarding my 2year old granddaughters prescription . A review to follow no doubt from my daughter once the baby is better.

There are two pharmacies on this parade and Lloyd’s was busy so I used this one. The lady behind the counter was rude and had such an attitude. I get they have to ask questions, I used to work in a pharmacy so I know the deal but she made me feel like a criminal and drug addict. When I had justified what I needed and why I needed it she shoved the box in my hand and with a look of disgust handed me my change and receipt. I was in a lot of pain so probably not the most tolerant but I was polite and answered all her questions. I even suggested she offer up an alternative if she wasn’t happy with what I had previously been recommended by a pharmacist.
