I waited in chemist for 30min today for my repeat medication. There was a note attached to say all meds weren't there and I was told that they had just got to have a second signature before I could receive them. After about 20mins I decided to go with what was ready and go back for the remainder. I always give them two weeks for repeats but having to wait 30 mins and still not having all my meds ready is absolutely discussting and to have four or five members of staff behind the counter standing talking doesn't give a very good atmosphere either.

This pharmacist has distressed my sister far too many times. This pharmacy is not providing a standard that should be reasonably expected of a matter of course. I wonder if this pharmacist is bound by the NHS constitution? I have advised my sister to contact PALS as well as enquiring into the pharmacist’s manager. It is unacceptable, my sister experiences this as distressing I on hearing about what has been said to her as potentially bullying, I think management need fo improve their customer experience and support some in house trading, minimally. There are also other chemists and different arrangements can be made this losing repeat business for Saxmimundham pharmacy.
