As a Care Home Manager who uses Visioncall regularly, following reading some of the reviews below I felt I had to comment on some of the negative feedback that has been given, I have always found Visioncall as a company and their staff to be extremely professional, understanding of our residents particular needs and tailors the eye tests to the individual needs of the residents. I have never found them to be hurried and always treat our residents with dignity and respect. Visioncall to me, are well ahead of their competitors in respect of residents with advanced dementia and how they perform the eye test on these individuals. Visioncall's local manager has attended my care home on a few occasions and provided me with an update on how the company are moving forward in respect of the changes in the care industry and the training the Staff receive to keep them up to date with best practice in various aspects e.g. Dementia and I have witnessed this in practice when Visioncall staff have been testing residents eyes. Our residents experience of Visioncall staff is always very positive and they wish to continue to use Visioncall for the foreseeable future. |

My father aged 94 bought some glasses from visioncall. After a short period he said to me (his daughter) that they were not very clear and he felt rushed when they came to the house and all they wanted was the order, which they got. Since then I have telephoned twice, made appointments for them to visit again as he cant see through them clearly, and they did not turn up, how rude. I was quite shocked to stumble on these negative reviews for Visioncall and felt it only fair to add my conflicting review. As a manager of a care home I have used Visioncall for many years and find their service not only highly efficient but they are also quick to respond to any request i make whether that be for a new vision test or frame adjustments. I also find their documentation second to none and it aids in ensuring each resident has the right spectacles to meet their differing needs and abilities. |
