My wife had her first COVID jab one week before me, she has now had her second one and I’m still waiting for mine after the 84 days, my step brother had his first jab 10 days after me and he’s had his second jab. There’s definitely something going on with favourite people jumping the waiting list.

I went to pick up my repeat prescription for my heart condition and was told by the pharmacy that my dosage has been decreased and was dangerously wrong. I rang the cardiology unit at the local hospital and they confirmed the serious error. After four phone calls to the surgery I finally got through and explained what has happened. The lady said she would try and sort it out. After waiting two days of taking half my medication feeling extremely anxious and not hearing back i again rang them to be told they had sorted it and my prescription had been put into the pharmacy for collection. Now it seems I am supposed to be clairvoyant in knowing it’s been sorted, absolutely no communication skills within the surgery staff as well as no duty of care whatsoever. Since GP’s have been elevated to the same height as god it’s impossible to see one, probably gives them more time on the golf course to worry about us mortals, we get fobbed off seeing a paramedic, perhaps they only class pensioners as third class citizens now as whenever I have only been allowed to see a paramedic when every else in the waiting room is waiting to see a GP. This used to be a excellent surgery but over the last few years it’s really gone down hill and would not recommend them any more.
