Some of the front of house staff can be a little sharp sounding on the phone which does not help when you are in a M/H crisis, this just adds to the general despair the three times that i have tried to get proper treatment for a major psychiatric disorder in a crisis and been offered highly inappropriate treatment and refused a referral because "the mental health services are stretched".That is extremely worrying because my needed medications can only be prescribed by a psychiatrist. On a personal human level i was destroyed. Thankfully i was able to speak to a qualified clinician via 111 who gave me the information i needed to see someone and gave me the perspective to plan my solution and find enough calm to start acting on it. I really would not engage with this surgery for this issue again. **Some people have been beyond kind and i thank them for their patience. | |||||||

I recently moved over to the Haverhill family practice, i have been been seen twice since moving over and both times have been a great experience, I see a dr with with son, he was fantastic, waiting time was a few minutes, the dr had time to talk and make my son feel comfortable and relaxed.
Reception staff - amazing! So friendly, efficient, always smiling, even when iv spoken on the phone, I can hear how busy and rushed they are but they still remain happy, friendly, and extremely helpful.
I see a dr today, she was so kind and caring, I didn’t feel rushed, she explained everything I needed to know, took time to read my notes, printed me off helpful Information, I felt relaxed, and cared for.
The surgery was packed this morning, the reception staff barely had a chance to breath in beteeen answering the phones and booking people in, but still managed to smile and be helpful and friendly to everyone. | |||||||

The Surgery is always presented well, clean and tidy with useful information displayed.
Appointments are available online, by phone or in person at the surgery and I have always been able to get an appointment within a reasonable amount of time if not on the day.
Receptionists sign post you to appropriate practitioner in respectful way and will fit you in on the day whenever possible.
Managers are clearly visible around the Reception area and obviously have a good working relationship with staff making the atmosphere professional, but approachable.
The Doctors are great. and provide first rate service to the community. The Locum doctors return to the surgery so you are able to start to see a pattern of consistent care.
