Been waiting all day for Dr to call me re fit note called at 1815hrs and was told I was definitely on list for call today. Now 1908hrs still no call. Have been waiting since 9am this morning. Called Dr about a month ago severe chest infection. Got told to fill in online form which I did. Then they sent me a message saying I would receive a call within 48 hours. Still no call almost a month on. I went to out of hours severe chest infection antibiotics and steroids. Very disappointed with this surgery

I changed to this surgery and have been very happy with them. The doctors are caring and attentive. The staff pleasant and always willing to help. The building itself is new and a pleasure to visit and there is always plenty of parking. As I age my health needs have increased and I am pleased that I am with this surgery.

My experience in the last 2 months after giving birth wasn’t the most pleasant one within this surgery.. The doctors, nurses and midwifes has been absolutely great help but the reception each time has let me down. As I mentioned above I got a newborn baby which sometimes makes things a bit more difficult than usual. I took the form in to register my baby and next time I came in I’ve been told they can’t find it and i probably filled in the wrong form? The one that they gave me? Have been offered to do it again.No apology at all. First appointment I had my baby was 2-3 weeks old and felt poorly they made us wait 40 minutes after my appointment time and when I went to the desk they told me I forgot to check in? How if I went straight to the desk? Then another receptionist admitted it was her fault. No apology again. Next time I brought some benefit forms for the midwife to sign not enough we have been waiting nearly 2 weeks for the midwife to be there when I came back to pick the forms up and they told me they’ve lost them so my husband went back as all of our personal details are on there we couldn’t leave like that they said they’ve found them but didn’t have my number to call - but they have called me lots of times before and had the forms with my number on it..And after all forms hasn’t been signed and we needed to wait another week for the midwife to be there again. We did. Went back again - she only signed one form out of three. Btw no apology to this either. Well we had to wait another week to get it signed again. Then I got my appointment for smear test came in and been told I’m only 9 weeks after giving birth needs to be 12.. How unprofessional? This whole time the receptionist didn’t seem to be bothered at all by causing all of this mess and even being rude like I’m bothering her time. Not one person has apologised for any of those situations and wasted a lot of mine and my babys time and I’m lucky my situation lets me wait for this little money you get from child benefit but for some people thats a big deal. This experience has been very distressing and could easily been avoided with a bit more organisation and communication. I hope things improve as the treatment we get each time is up to standard.
