Been here for 43 years, and the decline in this practice is there for all to see. The reception staff who sit at the very top of a high horse, are incompetent, rude, arrogant and speak to you with a manner I can only describe as they really couldn't be bothered, each receptionist you speak to says the complete opposite of the last one you've spoken with, completely shocking to listen to it coming out of their mouths. Doctors and Nurses generally don't listen to a word you say which makes me assume they have a can't be bothered attitude and would rather just prescribe medication to get you to go away....... Be warned though the medication they prescribe doesn't affect existing medical conditions, because they don't bother to read your notes. Avoid if you can.

A medication review over the phone was scheduled for Friday 13th September. On returning from holiday a phone message cancelled this and said that I would be phoned in the next TWO MONTHS to arrange a new appointment. If I need a medical review I need a medical review now, not in potentially two months time. Not encouraging for the proposed telephone triage system.

Thank you for your comments about your views on the practice. Unfortunately the practice is unable to assist patients further with complaints that are left as anonymous comments on our NHS Choices website. We would be happy to discuss with you further and ask that patients contact the practice direct to address any problems that they may have experienced. However, in this scenario, I can explain that the medication review work was being assigned to our Clinical Pharmacists either via telephone or face to face reviews. This workload is now being re-looked at and discussed further, as we are aware the wait for these reviews is at a level of concern for the practice. In this circumstance, the practice had to re-arrange clinics due to unexpected staff leave and therefore cancelled those medication reviews that were not long overdue and looked routine. If you have a concern regarding your medication or your health that you feel cannot wait for a routine review, please contact the practice who will be happy to help arrange this. This cancellation will have no impact on you ordering ongoing medication, as medication will continue to be prescribed via the practice during this period of time.
