I rang the surgery over 80 times on Friday the 15th of July to try and get an appointment after I fainted at work and ended up in A&E. I got through twice to the answer machine message then it just rang for ages but no one picked up. I eventually got through then was told there were no appointments available that day. Even though I told the receptionist it was urgent, she was unsympathetic and only offered an out of hours appointment at another surgery on London road. I could not attend this appointment as I was feeling too ill to travel and it was at 7pm that night. This GP practice is an absolute disgrace with a team of rude non caring individuals who do not give a damn about their patients.

I have been with this practice since birth ( a very long time ago). I moved to my present address many many years ago & have remained with the practice even though I no longer live close by, purely because I have always received a good duty of care from the GP's. However, I have recently been diagnosed with a life threatening illness & just when I need my GP more than ever, one of the GP's has decided that they cannot accommodate me as I live out of the area. This is causing me so much stress at a very difficult time. Just to say...I cannot remember when I last needed a visit. Need I say more.
