You can never get an appointment even if your dying?? Receptionist are extremely rude

What a horrible experience. They never answer the phone and they never call you back even if you do get through. Even the doctors don’t listen to a word my consultants tell them. Absolutely pathetic service, they should just close because they are no help at all.

I have been registered with the practice for over 40 years now. It is a A nightmare to get through when ringing for an appointment. This morning I phoned when the lines open and was number 18 in queue it took over 1 hr and 6 mins to get through.When I was number one in queue it went through and then I was on hold again for another 5 mins.Surely it shouldn’t take 3.66mins to make a appointment. I have seen in the practice the reception staff chit chatting away while the phones be ringing, no wonder it takes so long to get through. When they do answer they talk to you as if the practice is their family business. Also the practice does not have any consistency in the GPs on site every time I go it’s a new GP a new partner etc. Reception staff need to be either trained up in customer service or replaced.
