I write to say thank you to the practice team for introducing the Ask my G.P system at my local surgery.I have used the service 3 times so far, each time receiving wholly appropriate treatment and advice in a timely manner from a Dr of my choice on the day. I noted with great pleasure that much thought and effort had been put into making the service accessible to all whatever their circumstances, there is still telephone contact and the front of house team for the human touch, vital in my opinion. Our surgery is like no other in Sheffield, cheerfully deprived but rich in kindness to the many newcomers seeking a better life in our area, the Surgery ethos of care is an essential part of that kindness and very much valued by us all. The merger appears to be to all to our advantage, as an example of how to merge health services and best use of limited resources without upsetting the patient group or reducing services takes some doing, views were sought, information was freely given, the overworked team are looking healthier and happier in their work, Reception is a haven of calm again, bright, clean and very welcoming. It is clear that the team as a whole have worked together with the right intentions to give us all the best service they humanly can and sometimes a Thank You whilst appreciated doesn't cover the gratitude felt.
