I look after a 90 year old who has no knowledge or access to the internet. The last twice I’ve called on her behalf I’ve had to wait over 25 minutes even though I was third in the queue both times. This is stressful and time consuming. I dread to think how I will go about getting an actual appointment for her. Please put more people on the phones so I can speak to someone. I used to ring at 8.15 on the dot to get an appointment but that’s not possible anymore either. I feel at a loss as what to do if either of us is ill. I would probably take her to the walk in centre as it seems easier. I feel really disappointed at the change in my beloved practice who I trusted and felt served us well

Never really had an issue with this doctors until they have recently changed their appointments system. Before you would ring to get an appointment. Now you have to submit an online form or go through questions with the receptionist (takes 20 mins) for this to be reviewed by a doctor to see if you can get an appointment whether that be face to face or by phone. If you are not deemed ill enough for either they advice you to go to the pharmacist. This is absolutely ridiculous and considering most people downplay their medical concerns is dangerous. I dread to think what this process will mean for patients suffering with dementia etc who will now most likely not be able to get a face to face or phone appointment. Since the pandemic this surgery has gotten dismissive and to be honest uncaring. I will be considering moving to a doctors surgery where you can actually get an appointment and does not make it hard for vulnerable or elderly clients to see a doctor and have their medical needs tended to.

Booked an appointment using the Klinik Access form. Not straightforward. Apparently this is in place to save time being on hold on the phone. Filled the form in before 8.30am and received a text next day at 10am. The message said if appointment not suitable then contact them by phone. Appointment was for 8.50 in a weeks time. Arrived for appointment early and it was approximately 50 minutes before I was seen. Had to enquire what was happening. I did not see anyone or hear anyone being called in. I did not receive any explanation or an apology.
