trying to book a appointment is now almost non-existent, receptionist think they are the medics and decide if you need treatment if your lucky then a telephone appointment may happen. i moved there when Dr Thakka was GP and service was excellent but now getting a meeting with the Pope would be easier | |||||||

The receptionist I spoke to at this practice was extremely rude and unhelpful maybe if she took time out to consider that some people who contact the surgery are unwell or going through difficult times it might help her to do her job with some form of empathy this practice was wonderful many years ago how sad to see it decline. | |||||||

Have used this surgery since I was born 28years ago. Never had issues until the building moved and the previous head doctor retired. Since then the practice has gone downhill rapidly. The new head doctor is extremely rude, patronising and interrupts. His attitude is shocking. I rang for an appointment for a sick note, had to wait 10days (by which point i was back at work) and I expressed my concerns to the receptionist and was rold the doctor would back-date the sick note for me. When I explained this to the doctor I was faced with huffing & puffing, shaking his head and slamming his pen on the desk in frustration. Very unprofessional. Apart from one receptionist, the rest are rude and disrespectful. Their customer service is abismal. I've been a receptionist for 6years and would never speak to clients the way they do. You can't get appointments within a reasonable time frame. | |||||||
