My 87 year old my have several medical issues .community health have visited 4 times in 2 month when a doctor was requested .the medical team that have visited write an urgent report that they red flag .with request for medication it's been a week later when the doctor has finally rang then a further week before any medication is deliverd .The district nurse also has been sent that is great but they have requested a visit from the doctor who then send the community health .The cycle then continues of a report and so on mean while my sick mum has to wait up to 2 week for the rite medication suffering day and night .the family give 24 hour care but are not medical trained and need the response to be quicker when requesting help .the receptionist are wonderful .and are very supportive I feel its the gp service that has become increasingly lacking in duty of care .
