The reception are not explaining enough to doctors when a one off prescription is required this resulted in the doctor reducing a monthly prescription by half but not asking any questions of the reception. The reception also has no authority to change your nominated Pharamacy it is the patient decision to select what Pharamacy to use but again to much power or so they think that they can do what they want with patient prescription and what Pharamacy they use this is wrong and they need bringing under control they are receptionist not Doctors! |

I can honestly say I've never had an issue getting to speak to a doctor or getting an appointment Yes the appointment system is rubbish but it seems to be standard these days across all GP practices. Reception I have always found to be polite and helpful, never rude like some people have said, maybe because I'm never rude to them, generally I find people respond to how you are with them. GP's are good, if you have a telephone appointment they call on time, unlike some practices where they just seem to call when they like. Generally an all round good practice in my opinion. |

Been with this practice since the early 70s whatever has happened to this place its really gone down hill you can never get an appointment I was told by my consultant at Montague hospital to have the spring covid booster went to the place at Tickhill Road that was doing them but was refused because of my age I'm under 70 they told me to get a letter from my doctor's to authorise it then they would do it, I got in touch with St John's but doctor sinnah wouldn't authorise it saying in his opinion I didn't need it so I approached Montague hospital the consultant secretary got me the letter and I had it done why Dr sinnah thinks he knows better than the consultant I'll never know the only good thing for me at st johns is last year I saw a registrar who was working there temporarily I had a problem with my peripheral artery disease within 12 week's I'd had a artery by pass in my groin and stents in my lower leg thanks to that medical registrar dare not think what would have happened if it had been left to the regular doctors there |
