Every time I have needed the doctor, Hill View Surgery has been there for me. Everyone from the receptionsists, the nurse to the doctors are kind and caring and they go the extra mile by being open out of 9 - 5 hours. I needed to see a doctor today and got an appointment straight away. The doctor listened really carefully and did lots of checks to make sure I was OK. These days it is rare to get a surgery like this and I am so grateful for the caring, hard working staff.

My mother is 94 and lives in Lancashire. She often visits me for 3 to 4 weeks. She recently developed a nasty ear infection and, as it started on a Sunday, I took her to the local hospital's walk-in centre. She was given an antibiotic but it became clear by the following day that it did not suit her, as she was listless and nauseous. I rang Hill View Surgery on the Monday morning and met with a very helpful response from the practice manager. I was told that if we filled in some paperwork they could see her as a temporary resident and we were given an appointment for that same evening. On our arrival, the secretary was very helpful in processing the paperwork and the doctor was his usual attentive, compassionate self. We left with an antibiotic and a feeling of reassurance. As my mother's balance had been affected this morning I rang NHS 111 to discuss the problem, suspecting that the ear infection was the cause of this new symptom and that the antibiotic had not yet taken effect. They referred the information back to Hill View Surgery as well as asking me to ring the surgery myself. The receptionist was very helpful and the same doctor rang me within 20 minutes to talk about the way forward. This is text book NHS service at its very best. I cannot speak highly enough of this practice.

Having changed surgeries last year both my husband and I are so impressed with the caring of the Doctors, Nurses and Staff at Hill View Surgery. Nothing is too much trouble and you are always greeted with a welcome and made to feel that you are important. Thank you all!
