Once you have made an appointment, whether it's with the nurse or doctor you don't have to wait around verylng ib the waiting area. If there are any delay a member of staff will let you know. | |||||||

sms.drnvphillips@nhs.net - called and asked if I could book in for the flu vaccine. I got an appointment for today Friday 30th sept and get told by staff that this message was sent out in error (no subsequent text was sent to advise of the error!) and that the receptionist didn't know when booking me in for the vaccine that I wasn't meant to get it although I have had it previously. (during pregnancy) It's an absolute joke. I believe I should have still been offered it and I am annoyed that the nurse couldn't communicate with me and spoke very minimum English. It's the worst of the worst and as for the reception staff well I could go on but unapproachable, offensive and rude. (Apart from one person, they've been really nice and helpful in the past) left doctors and cried at how I'd been treated. Struggled with a 10month old getting to the appointment in the 1st place and this waste of time surgery messing me around is not on. Had issues after I had baby because the doctor wouldn't Prescribe me lansinoh for feeding her. Breastfeeding is not supported or encouraged by hte doctor either yet it's all you hear from the health visitors. I am put of visiting this surgery for my own health concerns. Only good thing is that baby always gets seen the same day. | |||||||

Been at this surgery for 45 years, parents were here, now me and my children. It's a comfort to see the same Doctor who knows everything about you. No explaining yourself over and over again like these medical centres with more than one Doctor. A real family Doctor that has stood the test of time to do a very demanding job with such dedication. Never had a problem with getting a appointment no matter what time I ring, this is the best surgery in Bilborough for being able to see the Doctor pretty quickly! I hope that there is a few more years of this excellent service from a dying breed of single handed practice. | |||||||
