My mother in law was treated terribly by this surgery. She was caring for her 90+ year old husband who had dementia and a poor heart. He was constantly falling over, and when she asked for help, she was told that there was nothing wrong with him. It was only after the family got involved (thank god we have nurses in our family) that she finally got help, but it was of little help as he passed away soon after. My 70+ year old mother in law now has a chest infection. She can barely breathe. She has little appetite, and she looks and sounds terrible, yet the receptionist on the phone has the nerve to ask her if it's an emergency when all she needs are antibiotics. # If it was an emergency, she would have called 999! The way she spoke to my mother in law is unacceptable. She then told my mother in law that she wasn't the only one to call, like it was her fault that she was ill. This is not the first time that this woman has spoken to her like this, and I will be making a complaint! Obviously, this woman needs a lesson in manners and empathy

I’ve taken my daughter to the surgery twice now about pain in her ear and a tight raspy cough. The receptionist was great both times. The first doctor gave her antibiotics which helped. The second doctor looked in her ears which was fine. Checked her breathing over her clothes if I hadn’t opened her coat he'd of done it through that. He then said well there’s no history of asthma in the family so she’s fine. I replied the whole side of my husbands family are asthmatic and her brother. He looked and said yes. Just give her calpol and tickcy licks. What a joke.
