I have always had excellent service from our Health Centre. The doctor is very thorough and for my lesser needs, there is always a Practice Nurse to hand. From what I can see, the Health Centre is well-managed and the surroundings are pleasant. No complaints at all!

I have been a patient at Welton surgery for 2 years. The whole team have treated me as a person and could not have provided better care. For an acute problem I have always been seen on the day at their morning wait clinic. Appointments can be made up to two weeks in advance. On one occasion I called the surgery and spoke to reception, as I had taken ill in the day within an hour a Doctor had called me back and within 30 mins of that I was in with a different GP, not the one, I had spoken to as they felt one of their colleagues was more able to help me and despite them not being the Dr on call they saw me. I have never felt that I was taking up their time unnecessarily and they always call back when they say they will. I got a phone call prior to their Christmas break to ensure that I had enough of medication to see me over that period. I can access my blood test results online which is so much easier. Ordering repeat prescriptions has been incredibly easy and the pharmacy staff are lovely and really friendly. My husband is a serving officer in the military and as such we move approximately every two years I have therefore experienced care at many GP practices, having had a chronic illness for 14 years this can be daunting and frustrating. This is without doubt the best civilian GP practice I have been looked after by. Thank you

I am a lorry driver for a living and when I attended work I had a random on the spot blood pressure and health check , they told me I had very high blood pressure and due to this I was unable to take my lorry out, they advised me to attend A&E immediately and to leave my personal vehicle at work. My company was told they had to give me a lift to seek medical help. I telephoned my GP surgery to see what they could do as I did not want to attend A&E. They were extremely helpful and advised me to attend the surgery straight away and the doctor on call would see me. When I arrived at the surgery the receptionist was very helpful and within minutes of me arriving I was seen by a lovely lady Dr who instantly increased my medication and wrote me a letter to give to my company to say I was fit for work as I was already taking medication for my blood pressure and the readings they had taken was not putting my driving at risk. She re assured me and told me not to be anxious. She put me at ease and within one hour I was back doing my job. I was given two further appointments to re check my blood pressure and have my bloods taken. I do get anxious wth any clinical procedure and I think this is why my blood pressure was slightly raised at work. I am pleased I did not attend A&E as I feel it would have been a waste of resources . Welton surgery and their staff are fabulous and I cannot thank them enough for their help and support.
