My family has been with this practice (both in this its original location and in The Lanes) for four generations and we've seen many changes in that time. The practice has coped well with the demands made upon it over the years and has worked hard to maintain a high quality of service. It is now a very forward-looking practice that is expecially good at long-term health management and is also good at being as accessible as possible (in today's NHS) for the more day-to-day patient needs.

Since I joined the practice in 2022 I have rarely had a bad experience. The phone system was like fastest finger first when I first joined and hold times were frustrating, the call back feature was a great system to introduce. I have not had many face-to-face appointments but these have not been necessary and is more convenient for me to have consultations over the phone, or via online portal. Given I am still fairly young, I have always found the GPs and ANPs to be helpful, understanding and efficient when needing to contact my consultant(s) regarding my long-term conditions; their acute care is usually very good but I was not seen regarding a knee injury face-to-face which was missed and ended up a bigger issue than first thought but community physio got it wrong as well.... Seen recently and needed a urgent two week referral to ENT, appointment was arranged within 3 hours by the surgery. Reception team are mainly polite on the phone, if you are with them.. It does not hurt to be courteous to them(the staff). Sometimes though they leave you at the desk waiting without acknowledging you for 3-4 minutes which is a bit unprofessional. A lot better than surrounding local practices. I say that from a work prospective when I had to interact with surgeries in my old job.
