Utterly frustrating. I have a 3 year old daughter. 6/7 weeks ago, she was unwell. Phoned the surgery (no exaggeration) 40 times during the afternoon with no answer. The following morning we phoned constantly from 5 mins before opening time for just over 20 mins before the receptionist answered. And I do mean constantly, repeatedly ringing with no break. The receptionist then said that they do always answer the phone. She then said that all appointments were taken, and advised me that I need to phone up first thing in a morning to get a short notice appointment. This is a surgery who are taking on more patients - they can't service the ones they have. Daughter unwell again today, suspected water infection - phoned over 20 times and given up. Using the I heart service - Lakeside is not fit for purpose.

Firstly thank you for taking the time to write your comments. Telephone lines can be extremely busy (especially at peak times) and we strive to answer them as soon as we can, I can only apologise for the difficulty you seem to have had getting your calls answered. Recently there has been some technical issues with the phone lines in the Goldthorpe building and this of course has had an impact, hopefully these issues have now been resolved. Our practice manager is aware of your views and is more than happy to arrange a meeting with you to discuss your concerns.

Phone just left to ring until cut off. Referrals very slow, only acted upon after being chased. Receptionist very polite when eventually the phone is answered. Took a whole year to get GP history transferred from old go. Fast losing confidence.

You can never get to see a doctor appointment they always send you to see the nurse takes too long to answer the phone got told can only see them with one complaint so ask can I make more appointments told no so how do you get to tell doc what's up with you myself I think it's going to take me about a year as ask to see doctors asap so been given a emergency appointment for two weeks time what a load of rubbish this place is and to say when it was going to close we was all fighting for the future of the service but just looks like we are going to change doctors now that I know that both doctors are only available two half days a week and all the other time the only one available is a nurse
