I would 100% not recommend this doctors to anyone! They never answer there phone so when you go down they say that they do answer the phone so i showed proof and the receptionist didn't know what to say. It take close to a month for any appointment because there fully booked even though when you go down there is no one sat there.

Thank you for your comment. I am sorry you are struggling to get through to the Practice on the telephone. We have been having issues with our telephone system for some time and are currently in the process of designing a new system which will have a shorter greeting message, will not cut callers off and will offer a queuing system. We are meeting next week with engineers from NHS Heywood Middleton and Rochdale CCG to organise the implementation of the new telephone system. We regularly review our appointment system and have now opened up more routine appointments, which should stop our urgent on the day appointments from being booked in advance.

I would not recommended this practice to anyone they bring agency doctors who are rude and who do not respect or listen to you. The receptionists apart from one are all rude and rarely answer the phone and they decide if you need an appointment or not.

Thank you for your comment. I am sorry you feel that our locum GP's are rude and disrespectful. We value feedback from our patients and if we are aware of a locum GP being rude or disrespectful we ask the agency not to book them with us again. Our telephones can be very busy at times, which means you sometimes have to wait for us to answer your call but we always have a receptionist answering calls from 8am until 6.30pm. Our Receptionists are advised by the GP to ask the patient what their symptoms are. The Receptionist does not decide if you need an appointment. They follow a protocol either offering an appointment or signposting patients to another service. Please feel free to contact me and give me further information so that I can look into this matter for you.

I have unexplained bruises coming up on body and I am really concerned about my blood sugars and iron I phoned doctors at 8am and didn't get through till after 9am I need to see gp asap as it's really making my mental health unstable and to be told to phone at 8am is a disgrace when I have been trying for over a hour I cannot wait for another 2 weeks as I need to get put back on metformin and possibly vitamin b12 and iron tablets so this is nowhere near good enough neither is it acceptable to have really poor service. This up is going downhill fast I would advise nobody to touch this surgery
