The staff at this surgery are fantastic, from reception to GP always friendly and respectful. They provide an excellent service to family member with learning disabilities and always listen to our concerns. Two doctors have provided excellent care and appropriate treatment at all times. Always able to get an appointment and phone back, well done Berryfields! | |||||||

The doctors are great, I have no issues over the care provided. Booking appointments is never consistent, it depends on who answers the phone to whether or not you can book a long term condition review in the normal way. According to their policies I should be able to but this is rarely the case. The doctors tell me to come in once a month but I don't have a regular slot booked in so i have to regularly call to book and the service i receive varies from person to person. They do not have enough understanding of how important it is to check about booking in the long term condition reviews because I can't call up every month and put a whole day out of work waiting for a call back from the GP to always low and behold told to come in for an appointment. The system is supposed to allow those with long term conditions who come in regularly to book an actual appointment without having to wait on a telephone assessment every single time but again, not all staff seems to follow by this which wastes a lot of my time. I struggle with my condition to hold on to my job as it is without the game constantly changing with regards to seeing my doctor. | |||||||

I’m currently 39.5 weeks pregnant and there is no available midwife appointment for me in week 40. According to NHS I would be able to get this appointment without any issues, but not in Berryfields medical centre. The earliest available midwife appointment is on the 2nd of July which is in 3 weeks! Obviously I am being left on my own now without any help or a chance to speak to my midwife about any possible concerns I have. My unborn baby is not important enough so I will be looking for another GP surgery. Very sad! | |||||||
