Good afternoon I cannot get anywhere through calling or on line. My son had a serious seizure on Friday having another 3 years ago. He blacked out, stopped breathing and injured his back and head falling when out. An ambulance attended and he came round after about 45 minutes. Being his second seizure, he did not go to hospital. We were told to get an urgent doctors appointment on Monday. At 7.30 this morning, I waited outside my St Mary's Island surgery. Door opened at 8am and I was told that I could not make an appointment at the desk in person for my son. I did respond that two weeks ago and when I could not get an appointment, I was told by the surgery on the phone that it was easier to come over at 8am in person on the day. So I did. The receptionist was extremely unhelpful and would not listen and I actually then called the surgery at the counter and to be told 23 in the queue and I would be called back. I never got a call back as is the usual experience again! I even said to the receptionist why tell me to come in person when not correct? Can I make this urgent appointment with you? She responded no. I them left extremely concerned at such a disgraceful level of service. I need to get this appointment to get my sons Michael medication reviewed and the appropriate tonic seizure tests done again. Last seizure 3 years ago this GP surgery failed to follow up on Michaels appointments at hospital and in consequence we were having to start a fresh again. Then this on Friday, another severe seizure. Someone please help us instead of hindering. |

Had appointment booked for drug review between 8am 12 o clock. No call on spending 25 minutes on the phone waiting to be answered was told that the person I was due to speak to had gone of. Sick and I would have a phone call from someone tomorrow. My issue is that a none qualified person is telling me that I need to speak to a pharmacist and not a doctor I think I know exactly who I need to speak to. and also when was anyone going to phone me and tell me of the change of day and time of this appointment. I think this is a very poor service . |

Just not in the least bit helpful .Told me to ring up 111 I did they told me at 16 30 they'd get back to me in 2hrs well it all disgust me as I'm still waiting for the call back ?Why in the dickens doesn't someone get to grips I think that I have bad reaction to my med can't stop taking as I have glaucoma so where in the dickens does one turn the hospital said that the GP is to take over now BUT IT CERTAINLY LOOKS THAT THEY ARE TURNING THEIR BACKS What is one susposed to do can't get appointment to me this is disgraceful |
