Was with this doctor for over 2 years in that time fone service was terrible had phone put down on me on 6 occasions. My terminally ill father was refused his medications Inc heart meds on 16 occasions recently being refused his cancer treatment the practice manager removed me from the surgery although I have been videoing every arrival for last 6 months and dispute everything she said she has denied 2 formal requests in writing under data protection act for my records had meeting behind my back saying I was danger so no NHS staff come to home to care for dad causing 31 hospital visits 21 by ambulance and denied right of appeal and when appeal took place I was not allowed to attend or supply my video evidence live Facebook feed I did shows refusing meds and saying to other staff members I f. Hate him they lied to nhs England who made recommendations but nhs England told me this too big for them so take to ombudsman but I am also now considering legal action with amount evidence I have terrible surgery don't answer for half time and practice manager should not be working for NHS she may put your family members at risk like me and my father oh and she told me to source heroin rather than give me pain relief discusting

I started ringing the phone number at 8am on 25th January and none of the practice phones where turned on and it kept going to the out of hours message. I don’t think this is very good as it says the surgery opens at 8am so therefore the phones should go on at that time. I am talking from experience as I work in a gp practice and phones there go on automatically at 8am and take calls. something needs to be done about the phones and when the phones eventually went on it said it was busy and i still wasn’t through after 88 tries.

I have been with this practice for years now and I am happy with the experiences provided. I always manage to get through on the phone first time -regardless of what time of day it is, and an appointment is always provided over the phone with no need to call back! I recently found out I was pregnant and needed to have a few trips to the doctors and assistance with forms etc. and all the staff were really helpful. It is a different practice to the Community Doctors so you are seen on an appointment basis. My only negative review would be the location is not the best with parking in Maghull square, but Morrison's is right next door. The location has changed several times over the years which is frustrating. I was also once prescribed medication that I could not take whilst pregnant but the chemist picked this up - I brought this to my doctors attention. So always ask!! Overall, I don't seem to have any issues with the service and appointment booking for this GP
