A few times I have rung this number to arrange various appointments. Each time I have rung this number (01257 513950) I've been greeted by an extremely rude woman who is completely unwilling to help.
The practice and number is supposed to represent Chorley Health Centre as a whole. Instead I was told 'this is the number for Dr [X] and no other services'. When I asked for the number for other services, I was told they do not know the numbers and this is dependent on the service. When I told her the service I was after, I was told different information than the previous information told by Preston Hospital. When I asked the times I was previously told, the reply was 'thats a new one on me' - no help or advice on where to go for more info was given, followed by 'alright, bye', and the phone put down.
I am seriously starting to question even going to the Doctors after this third incident with this receptionist - going completely against the advice of other professionals to seek treatment due to this woman at the surgery.
Every time I have visited Chorley Health Centre, the layout is confusing and not helpful. The first desk tell you to go to the Receptionists for the doctors - and then they tell you to go back to the first desk! Chorley Health Centre, please look at this and consider the customer service of your front desk staff. | |||||||

Visited reception at mid day. Tried to book a repeat prescription on line following the details given by the receptionist. Online referred me back to receptionist . Telephoned surgery and was fourth in the queue. Made my way to first in the queue and waited for 31 minutes until I hung up. Unsuccessful . From time to time we do have a problem with the phone system not working correctly however we weren't aware there were a problem yesterday as no other patient commented otherwise we would have contacted IT to resolve the situation who always fix it immediately.
