Tried to make an appointment for my 18 year old son whos at work to be told to ring back after 12 for afternoon appointment. I was told by a doctor that you dont have to do this, explained my son at work so is unable to ring, I was told she would organise a telephone consultation to which he cant answer his phone at work???to which the reception said take him to non emergency drop in at hospital as my son obviously couldn't attend an appointment if he is unable to answer phone. I asked for a phone call after 3 when he finished, she was quite rude and non helpful. Agreed to this phone call. The doctors themselves are brilliant but the initial receptionist you speak to needs some serious customer service training. Also my son is epileptic, works and is unable to get to doctors to order repeat prescriptions. Yes you can set up ordering online but guess what due to my son living at home and not having utility Bill's etc he cant set up this service. The system in place does not work for people that work and theres no consideration for this

Received a letter regarding my mother asking me to make a telephone appointment. The next available appointment is in 10 days time. I do not find this acceptable. This used to be the premier practice in the area easy to contact and easy to get appointment within a short timescale. What has happened to the good service we used to get.

As there were no appointments available online I called at surgery as have pain in neck, he he really, and am experiencing nausea and acid reflux (was vomiting last night) only to be told to ring at 8 o'clock or call at surgery at that time . If everybody's doing that it's a fiasco, feel sick and am in pain now not impressed.
