I’ve been with this practice for only two weeks and I’m already extremely unhappy. The online booking system doesn’t allow to book a GP appointment. Which makes me question why it’s enabled at all. I informed the practice that I cannot speak on the phone because of my condition. They told me I had to use the Engage system to book appointments. The Engage system doesn’t work, as the appointment option redirects to the online booking website … which cannot be used to make GP appointments. If this sounds like a convoluted mess of different systems, it’s because it is. I contacted the surgery about this via email. Their ‘solution’ was for me to venture out for over 40 minutes in 32 degree weather to book in person. And they want me to do so for every single appointment. I’ve exchanged 15 emails with the practice, and nobody has had the insight to offer an appointment over email instead. They said they cannot do this. My old GP, which had fewer resources was able to book my appointments over email every time, so there’s no reason for them not to. Ultimately, this means that I’m unable to make any bookings because they won’t make a very reasonable accommodation. |

it's just a pity for words after submitting a complaint about the work of doctors and reception staff I got the answer that it was my fault, everything was, there were lies in the answers and at the same time I was deleted from the list of patients because I pointed out the error and the problem of the clinic, instead of correcting the problem, the clinic got rid of the patient it is embarrassing and professionalism comes into it and, what is worse, it is typical ignorance on the part of gp |

originally made an appointment on 14/01, for 13/02 at 5:50 (was the soonest I could be seen after 5pm as I work mon-fri 8-5). Phoned up on 15/01 and re-arranged this for 14/02 when I realised I had a previous engagement on 13/02.
Having been able to get the afternoon of the 14th off work, I phoned on 06/02 to see if I could move my appointment sooner in the afternoon, only to be told that I didn't have an appointment booked at all!!! One was booked for me for the afternoon (3:40pm), and was told I would receive text confirming my appointment.
Text comes through the next morning, with my original appointment of 5:50!! So I phone to find out if its 5:50 or 3:40, and am told that there is no appointment for 3:40, only 5:50!!
left hand doesn't know what the right is doing in that reception. either that or I was being blatantly lied to when I phoned on 06/02.
ALWAYS DOUBLE CHECK YOUR APPOINTMENT TIMES!!!! |
