I had a Emergancy apt today , due to concerns I having been having for 3 months . I’m not one to go to the doctors regularly , thought my problem would go away . I phoned up at 8.20 to be told there was an apt at 9. I quickly got ready to set off. Found I had a flat tyre . I raced around and fixed it .
Arrived 6 minutes late . I sat patiently for 20 mins . The receptionist then announced my name . She said I’m sorry the doctor won’t see you we have a 5 minute rule .
After 50 years with the same doctors , and quite often taking the dedicated staff chocolates at Christmas I’m leaving this surgery . I too have a very busy life . And I’ve often waited up to 40 mins for my allotted time . I wouldn’t recommend this doctors to my worse enamy . | |||||||

Never had a good experience at this surgery,doc,s are all ways running very late 40 mins on one occasion,and no apology/ how ever the nursing staff there are very good,and do a great job,very difficult to get an appointment,but not much choice in the village ,it's just going to get worse!!!, | |||||||

Hi, I just wanted to put it in writing how impressed I was with Gibson Lane surgery. it is always manned on front desk by 2 staff. They speak privately and very helpful to get you what you want. Eg other options of dates and times for appointments
Waiting area is big, clean and plenty of seats
I've had severe break outs of eczema over the past 6 months and been to GL a lot. More than I ever wanted to obvs!
I've seen one particular doctor a few times and must say she is very good at her job.
I realise everyone is busy all the time but she listened to my problems and difficulties every time I went. Professional but genuine caring attitude.
In the past it seems im told I have adult eczema so use cream. ie tick a box, result and next patient through the door.
She took charge of creams and medicines and what needs to be done in priority. Her knowledge and perseverance has helped me alot. The referral to Chapel Allerton has led to light therapy (which ive asked for years ago)
